CAPITAL PROJECT UPDATE

 Work in the administrative area should be complete within the next few weeks, while renovation of the elementary auditorium is moving along according to schedule.

Renovation of the locker rooms in the elementary building are likewise occurring; however, because used high school lockers are being used for this renovation, lockers will not be installed until the gym in Ovid is complete and renovation work is started in the old Ovid locker room areas.

The new elementary art room work is scheduled to begin once the new administration area has been occupied.

Gym construction is moving along as scheduled at this point.  Installation of the wood floor should begin very soon; basket ball hoops are being installed; tile is complete in the locker rooms and plumbing fixtures installed; ceilings are complete in the girls’ locker room and are near completion in the boys’ locker room; windows are installed in the gym and locker rooms; doors are starting to be installed on the interior and exterior; terrazzo floor installation is scheduled to very soon; ceilings are being installed in the lobby; casework is scheduled for delivery and installation in the concession area; tile is proceeding in the public toilet rooms; and the aluminum entrance is being installed on the east elevation.

The renovated weight room is also nearing completion.
